Great Recipe For Grilled Venison Burgers
The Best Venison Burgers Recipe come from the heart and the love of cooking. Venison grilled over hot charcoal coals is one of best ways to prepare your game meat. This is a great recipe for whitetail deer meat that I came up with after many trials. Not really mistakes; just trying different ingredients until I became happy and satisfied with the end product. Taste and texture is so important to me. This venison recipe takes a little extra preparation with a variety of ingredients’; but oh so good! Enough fluff; lets get to cooking our whitetail deer meat – some great venison burgers. I’m getting hungry!
Ingredients and Preparation
2 pounds of ground venison meat from your trophy deer
1 egg – beaten
1 tablespoon steak sauce
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 cup chopped blue cheese
1/4 cup chopped bacon bits
1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped orange pepper
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
1/4 cup chopped yellow pepper
1/4 cup grape sparkling water

In a large mixing bowel combine beaten egg, steak sauce, liquid smoke and blend. Add venison and mix well. Add all chopped ingredients and mix well again. Make sure coals are hot for grilling. Now add 1/4 cup sparkling water and fold/mix into mixture; be careful not to over mix as you don’t want the carbonation of the sparkling water to dissipate. This carbonation will help keep your venison burgers moist while cooking. Shape your venison mixture into patties for grilling.
Place venison burgers on grill over hot coals, cover and grill to desired doneness carefully flipping only once. Place Swiss cheese on top of the venison burgers to melt cheese. Serve right off the grill on buttered hamburger buns with favorite condiments; ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown honey mustard, pickles, lettuce, sliced tomatoes on the side if desired. Enjoyable side dishes would include baked potato with sour cream, baked beans, calico bean hot dish, potato salad, French fries, chips or just a salad. Yum! Yum!
