There are many keys to success when hunting trophy deer on a guided hunt. The more a hunter knows about the hunting guide he or she books with, the better prepared they will be. Find out if the guide is licensed or required to be licensed; check with the states D.N.R.. A serious trophy deer hunter will ask for and check the deer hunting guides references. A hunter should call at least three past client's of a prospective hunting guide. They should be from different area's and not from the same state. Hunting equipment and riflescopes, even in good rifle cases, can be bumped in transit to your hunting area, especially if you flew on commercial airlines.
