TheDeerHuntingGuide.com has been in development since 2005. This Internet deer hunting guide was launched in the spring of 2006 with the purpose of helping inform and educate whitetail deer hunters and enthusiasts of all ages to all the aspects concerning successful whitetail deer hunting. Our goal is to provide the average deer hunter with practical and useful information that he or she can apply in the pursuit of their passion; the opportunity to selectively harvest whitetail deer. Our passion to hunt this amazing big game animal stretches back over 50 years. During that time many lessons have been gained from experience in the field. Starting about 15 years ago we moved on from just hunting and harvesting whitetails to applying deer management techniques to improve the overall quality of the local herd. Through continuous education, applied land management, and selective harvest we have a healthy, robust, and stable whitetail deer herd that is well balanced. We are not a big corporate company that only strives for sales of merchandise with advertisements that make one wonder where the information is. We will leave that to other online websites, TV shows where you learn almost nothing, and magazines that have become advertising journals.

We have guided a few select successful deer hunters in the past and will continue to do that in the future from time to time. These guided hunts are done one on one, or father/mother & son/daughter. We offer hunting opportunities in all weapons seasons; Archery goes from the third weekend of September through December, Rifle starts first or second weekend of November and is two full weeks long – over the peak of the rut, Muzzleloader starts the last weekend of November and goes on for two full weeks too (hunter can also use a Muzzleloader during the rifle season). We also educate deer hunters on proven techniques for harvesting deer, protecting your harvest, and processing your venison. Finally, we strive to help improve your venison cooking abilities with generations of passed down family recipes and our great easy to use and understand venison recipe book.
